You can run a dos utility called fdisk from the \windows\command directory with an undocumented "switch" /mbr which will put a new master boot record on the disk and allow you to boot straight to do (Windows). You'll need to use Linux's version of fdisk to remove the partitions Linux created IF they were extended partitions... Of course primary (non-dos) partitions can be removed with the first fdisk. -- From Damien, You may find more information on my site:- http://www.linuxshop.com.au "pat" <pat@pat.com> wrote in message news:3910a273@news.server.worldonline.co.uk... > How do I uninstall Mandrake 7 from my windows machine...... > > >
