Athlon special kernel patch?

Hi.
Is there any Athlon (AMD K7) patch for kernel 2.2.14 or 2.2.15?
When compiling, the options regard only to Intel Pentium or K6.
The 2.3.99-pre7 does support Athlon, however, this is only a testing kernel,
and I do not wish to use it.
