I'll try. I installed, configured, and even got the damned thing to work, a IBM ThinkPad with a Xircom Multi-use PCMCIA modem/10/100 baseT NIC under Redhat Linux 6.1, dual booting with NT 4.0 (now THAT is an adventure). I need to know what yuor setup is and maybe I can help :-) MOST CURRENT revisions of Linux detect PCMCIA, so then it's just a matter of finding the proper driver for your card(s) I.E. there is a semi-universal driver under redhat for network cards caled tulip (developed in Holland?) that andles over a dozen different cards, including my PCMCIA Xircom Nic side. I have another Card in a desktop that uses the same driver. it works well enough, that also uses the tulip driver. Good luck :-) -Wolph "Bart Sexton" <peanuts01@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:4Anu4.943$q27.16637@news.uswest.net... > Help me set up my PCMCIA card, I for some reason can not find the right way > to do this via command prompt. if you think you cqan help at all even small > tips please let me know.... > > Bart > >
