I had the same problem with Redhat 6.0 & 6.1, but I think its because my
windows box in which I created these disks runs NT 4.0 Server, NT is
less friendly towards programs that attempt to access the devices
(floppy) directly versus Windows 95/98.

A solution to this is to download the shareware package winimage. Its
at www.winfiles.com and www.cdrom.com etc. Even though the redhat image
file extension is different than what winimage is expecting, it works
perfectly, consistantly, etc.

Good luck :) Oh, it works on all flavors of 32-bit windows.
