I am running linux mandrake on my laptop PC, but in xwindows, I can only get a 640x480 display surrounded by a black border. Is there a file where the current resolution is kept? Similar to the way the LILO setting is located in the file: /etc/lilo.conf Is there a similar file that holds the screen resolution? thanks -- Stuart
