hcf pci modem from rockwell

i have the rockwell hcf pci modem and was wondering if anyone can help me
get it running under mandrake 7.0 /dev/modem says it's not there and after
switching through the other mounts with an init string it stalls on
initialising modem i heard if you set it to /dev/stddl1 it should work but i
don't see that mount listed can anyone help thanks
