I posted this a while ago and the response I got worked. But since then I repartitioned and upgraded from Redhat 6.0 to Mandrake 7.0 and I can't get my LS-120 drive working again. The one thing is when you go into linuxconf, it isn't graphical like it was in RH 6 but runs out of a terminal window. It doesn't give you choices with drop down menus. I tried to put /dev/hdd for partition. I put mount point as mnt/ls120. I first tried vfat for file system. But it didn't work so I changed it to auto. Still doesn't work. The way I mount the drives after I install all of that is I put an icon on my desktop for device then put all of the info in there. Then it lets me right click on it and say mount or unmount. (I have no idea how to unmount a drive if there isn't an icon to do it with.) If you wouldn't mind, I don't read the newsgroups that often, so if you can send replies to my e-mail address, that would be great. Thanks, David dmorlow@mtu.edu
