Ok, if I would of saw this post, I would of put it in the last e-mail.
Mine, it just reconizes NIC when I loaded Linux also.  You could see if
it reconizes your LAN card when you put in Mandrake also.
but have you tried going to netconf and see if there is anywhere to
setup the network card in there?
