I have a Zoom 56k PCI modem, ( yes I know its a winmodem and that it supposedly doesnt work with linux) The Zoom website offers some very limited technical advice as to how to configure your modem to work with linux but I must be too stupid to figure it out. So if anyone can assist me or at least let me know if its a lost cause I would appreciate it. I'm running RH6.1 on an Intel P III 500 dual boot system. I've run ppp and set up my dial up accounts. I believe that linux knows that my modem is there but it just doesnt know how to communicate with it.
