I'm dual-booting (RedHat for my serious stuff and Win98 for my gaming).
Wouldn't disabling my com ports prevent me from using my WinModem in
MS-Windows? How would I play some of my games on-line? My life would be
hell.

Any suggestions for me? (other than buying a different modem or losing
Win98 altogether?)
