Pls can anyone help. I am new to Linux and have no experience of Unix, I am trying to install my sound card (Videologic Sonic Storm Pro PCI) but under sndconfig I cannot find it on the list. Does anyone know how to install it??? Is Linux the same as Windows in the fact that you can get drivers from the vendors website and install them?? I also have been reading about installing the sound module as part of the kernel, what does that mean? Any comments greatly appreciated Jason
