ftp problem!!!!

 what must i configure to get runnig the ftp server on my linux server. i
have suse linux 6.2 installd have started the inetd services, but i dont
know which file  must i configur, and what must i configur to get a ftp
connection. if i try to get a connection i get everytime this message:

linux@linux:~>ftp192.168.1.1 Connected to 192.168.1.1. 421 Service not
available, remote server has closed connection ftp>by linux@linux:~> message
in /var/log/messages:

Nov 21 14:45:44 linux wu.ftpd[1005]: connect from 192.168.1.1 Nov 21
14:45:44 linux wu.ftpd[1005]: error: cannot execute /usr/sbin/wu.ftpd: file
or objekt not found
