I hope someone can help me before I throw my laptop out the window!!
I have an Acer Extensa 501T laptop (P266 MMX 32 mb ram)
It has a 3.2 gig H/D, 2gig partitioned with win98 and I hoped to install
Linux on the remaining 1.2 gig.
I installed Mandrake Linux 6.0 on the smaller partition. The install
appeared to go smoothly with a succeseful test on the xserver. However
disaster struck  when I reebooted the system. I am using LILO to boot.
The boot sequence starts successefuly but abrubtly stops dead.

I also tried booting from a floppy but the same thing happens every time.
I hope someone can help me.
