Can't install Rhat 6.0

I just finished partitioning my 13.5 GB to make room for Linux. However, the
installer warned that the Linux partition is not there. I suspect it is the
the driver for promise tech. ultra66 controller need to be loaded before the
installer starts. Any suggestion would help.
