Cannot install Linux-Mandrake 6.0

I am having trouble installing Mandrake linux 6.0 on to my PIII-450. I
partition my 12GB HD with the bundled Partition magic and was successfully
completed. However, I encountered an error during the installation process.
The installer gave an error message of partition not being found by the
installer. I went back to Partition Magic and it verified the part.
exist.... I am stuck.

Any comments are appreciated.
