It may be a basic question with a basic answer. BUT How
do I successfully gain a connection with my internet provider with
PPPD or/and WVDIALLER incorporating netscape or any browser
into the equation. I have peresevered for a while( I won't say how long
- you'll laugh) without total success. I am using SUSE linux 6.0, which
has otherwise been triuble-free.
I can successfully dial out and establish a connection with either
minicom or wvdial but incorporating a browser is proving the problem.
eg when using wvdial it seems to successfully negotiate logging on
and authentication but hangs having started pppd. I don't know
how to get netscape or any browser into the act.
