Is it a 486 class computer I found that on slower computers Java would
often not work I have the same problem using netscape on a 486 under
both windoze and Linux however it works fine on a faster computer. I
think I managed to get Java working under windows by using a java
broweser plugin.. perhaps you can do the same thing under the linux
version. a lot of sun programs are ported to linux like the JDK so I
wouldn't be surprised it something like Suns Hot java browser plugin was
ported.. just a thought.
