Hi, the best way is to check your documentation or the web site of the manufacturer. I am currently dealing with an IBM Mwave card in my system. That is a combination modem/sound card that is distributed in many computers including my Acer computer. Unfortunately I learned myself that mwave means windoze only. Hope that obvious comment helps.
