I am new to Linux. (Very new) But even before I had it
up and running, I was telling everyone I knew about it.
there are a few people very interested, but two of them
write and record their own songs. they want to be able to
do the same thing in Linux before they switch.

I hope that someone out there has heard of a (I'm sorry)
Windows (GASP) program for writing and/or recording
music called CAKEWALK.

my question: is there a program similar to CAKEWALK
in the Linux realm?

I'd appreciate any help

                                        much thanks
