I'm having troubles with setting up my machine to use dialup networking under Xwindows. I have redhat 5.2, in a dual-boot config with windows 95. Anyway, firstly, I don't know if Linux can see my modem. It's an internal PCI Swannsmart modem (Plug & Prey). It works under Windows. The only place where I have found a 'connect' button is under the linuxconf program. But when I press it, I hear the hard drive working, but nothing happens onscreen, and the modem does not access the phone line. I am new to Linux, so any help would be appreciated.
