I have quite a specific problem, which I hope somebody can address. I just downloaded and installed PhatLinux which runs similar to RedHat's Kernel. It uses the xf86config instead of the xf86setup when configuring x-windows. The problem I have is getting my mouse to work. A while back, my motherboard decided to crap out on com port one, so I decided to disable the com port in the bios and install an I/o card to connect my mouse to it (this was under windows 95 by the way). Now, when installing linux and configuring windows, I really have no idea how I should set it up. the dev/mouse option doesn't work. When I look at my windows system information, it says the mouse is connected to port ps/2 with IRQ 12. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to enter this correctly in my xf86config??? Thanks in advance.....
