With my SiS 6326 w/8MB RAM, using XF86config I could only see the
taskbars, some icons, the corners of a dialog box and the button in the
dialog box - everything else was black.

After correspondence w/Linux-Mandrake support, I decided to just give up
and buy another card, a Matrox Millenium G200 LE (8MB SDRAM). Although not
cheap, that fixed the problem for me.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Derek
