I am definitely a "newbie" (GOD, I hate that word) to Linux.

I've been telling a couple of friends about Linux. They are interested
in possibly switching over. HOWEVER, one of them writes
Christian songs, and uses a program called "CAKEWALK" for WIN-95
to help create the music and then records them to a CDR.

MY QUESTION: Is there ANYTHING similar to "CAKEWALK"
available for Linux?

Also, is there a CDR. driver for Linux. (Sorry, I don't know the CDR.
make right now.)

I would appreciate any help you can give.

                                            Much thanks in advance
                                                    Drazi11
