I'm a newbie and just getting started with Linux. I'm running Red Hat 6.0 and have an AOpen FM56-ITU/2 ISA modem setup on com3. Red Hat recognizes the modem and I'm able to dial my ISP and I get the normal noises followed by the silence normally associated with the ISP checking login name/password. At this point I get disconnected??? I have double checked with ISP for correct DNS numbers and the login/password info is also correct. Any info would be appreciated..... You can leave an answer here or e-mail me Mike Taylor mrmike@nvc.net
