SIS 5597 Problems Help

I am using a PC chips TXPRO II motherboard with an on board SIS 5597
graphics controller and am having big problems getting it to work with RED
HAT 5.2 and Xwindows. Does anybody know how to set-up one of these
boards/controllers to work. I have run the Xconfiguration program which does
not list this device and have also tried using the Generic settings but as
yet no success. Can anybody HELP
