I am trying to install SuSE 6.0 with LILO as bootmanager on a harddisk with more than 1024 cylinders (24xx). In the help file it is described that I have to divide the HD in more partitions, one with less than 1024cyl. and the rest. I have done this and installed the system in this partition. If I reboot my pc after the installation the screen is filled with '1010101010...' . If you have an idea, please mail me (DIRECTLY!). p.s.: the HD is on the second IDE bus and jumpered to ? (is this important?).
