hi So,i have a gigabyte GA-686BX motherboard ( set to boot AGP in BIOS ) with a cirrus CL-GD5465 4Mb Laguna 3D (AGP) from the pinegroup http://www.pinegroup.com connected to a 17" monitor also a cirrus CL-GD5446 (PCI) 2Mb connected to a 15" monitor both work fine in windows. The 5446 works fine when its set up on it's own in Linux S.u.S.E. after a bit of tinkering. The problem is when i have both installed i cannot get the server to start the GUI it either locks the computer with a black screen with a few white dots or returns errno 111, mostly the computer locks up totally. As there is no card listed for Laguna or 5465 i have tried setting chipset to the 5465 option and probing the ramdac and clock Is this correct? I have also tried this with the clock set to cirrus and 230MHz as this is the maximum of the card at 8bpp i have tried the monitor at a basic SVGA 800x600 and all along the server set to SVGA and many more options to go with it with no avail. I have tried KDE, KDM no starter, also i have tried Red Hat Linux and get the same thing a black screen with the system locked up...please help One last thing...two screens two cards set-up in Linux S.u.S.E. with AGP and PCI ? thanx in advance Dave
