execute "man mount" to see the help for the mount command. Simply you can have the scheme: master on IDE0 = hda - and the devices are hda1, hda2, hda3 ... slave on IDE0 = hdb - and the devices are hdb1, hdb2, hdb3 ... master on IDE1 = hdc - and the devices are hdc1, hdc2, hdc3 ... slave on IDE1 = hdd - and the devices are hdd1, hdd2, hdd3 ... Then you can do something like mount /dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom for example to mount your CD-ROM drive if it is a master on the IDE1. Simmilar for SCSI devices. Just look into /dev directory to see if you have those special files... Have fun! Magnus wrote: > How can i mount more harddrivers in Linux redhat > plz help me I'm a beginner
