Am looking for advice as to which PCI 100BaseT networking card I can use in my Linux 2.0.27 system (the machine is a dual PII 400). Have tried several and cannot seem to get them to work. In particular, recently bought the HP 10/100VG J2585B PCLAN card. I have it set to the defaults on a PCI IRQ which is NOT being used by other devices. I have compiled the driver into the kernel and it does not seem to work. If someone can give me any specifics as to WHAT they had to do I would greatly appreciate it. I have had NO problems with 3Com 3C509B TPO's.....I have tons of them in production. However, I would LOVE to start upgrading to a 100MB, PCI card. Any help is GREATLY appreciated, Happy Holidays!
