Hello Linux fans

I have a horrible problem and hope someone out there may be able to
help.

I have not had any problems with LINUX in the past but now.....

I have a Pentium 200MMX 64MB RAM 3G HDD and I cannot get any version of
LINUX to boot fully - even the pre install boot/root diskettes get to
"Callibrating loop...." then it reboots.

I have tried a number of BIOS changes and tried "mem=" options. I can
actually get past the failure point on one condition and that is with a
boot option of "mem=250k" which of course is a ridiculously low memory
allocation, but it then gets to "not enough memory to load kernel as one
would expect.

Any clues or suggestions (apart from get another PC)?

Thanks

Pete
