I am a student and I downloaded linux so I can save money and not buy vc or
vb under windows. I installed linux and it is up and running but I would
like a programming editor for c++ and c. I have xemacs and emacs but I was
told that they were just text editors and not good programming tools. I
would like to know if i can find some free c and c++ compilers besides gnu c
and I would also like a debuger. I liked vc at school and I would like to
know if there is something similiar in linux. THanks.
