I'm running RedHat v5.1 on a Laptop with an S3 Virge/MX video card, and a
standard 1024x768 (max) LCD monitor. 

The problem is, when I start Xwindows I get large white lines running up and
down the screen. You can see through them, but barely.  Also, the virtual
desktop is creating 1 1/2 desktops on 1 screen, I've tried different resolutions
etc..., nothing seems to fix this problem for me. If someone could help me out
I'd appreciate it!  Thanks in advance...
