Sendmail 'makemap' in Manhattan.

I am trying to use makemap with the database type of 'dbm'.  When I try to run 
the following command I get the following error.

root@mail ~]# makemap dbm /etc/virtusertable.db < /etc/virtusertable
makemap: Type dbm not supported in this version.

Does anyone have a 'makemap' version that has the abitily to produce type 
'dbm' databases.  I really don't feel like starting over with the sendmail 
configuration crap again.  makemap or something that will serve the same 
purpose would be great!
