Dear Anyone, I've put Linux on one of my PC's to learn Linux and Unix, I'm trying to get FTP and Telnet to work from my Win95 PC. I've added the line in inetc.conf, I can ping in both directions. I get Connection to Host Lost from the telnet, and Reset From Peer from the FTP. Prior to adding the services in the conf file I got the expected connection denied. If I use netstat, I get a status of TIME_WAIT for the tcp connection. Any ideas anyone? Regards Lewis
