If your entire HD is being used by Win98, then you will need to use FIPS
to shrink that partition, if Win98 is installed on a FAT32 system, then
FIPS will not work, and you will need to get Partition magic, once you
have shrunk the Win98 partition enough to make enough space for Linux,
begin the Linux installation and create the Linux partitions with Linux's
FDISK, then format it to be EXT2 partition(the installation program does
this) and continue to choose the packages you want installed and install
it..Regards
