yes you can run any linux along with win95 on the same machine I am new to
linux so I not sure which version to tell you is better but I have seen
Redhat 5.0 in action and installed Slackware linux on my own machine,  do
not expect to have a version running over night I have yet to get a fully
functional version working yet.
