Linux is tricky, in that there are several ways you can partition your
HD on initial install. Usually I try to keep it simple, though you
might want to look into what would be best for your needs.

The mount points that Disk Druid will require you to create are:
1. /boot
2. / (root)
3. swap space (the amt of swap space designated is usually around
double the amount of ram you have in the comp. ex. - 32M RAM would
_require_ 64M of swap space.)

I usually try to hand /boot around 100M of space (when available).
This usually leaves the Kernel more than enough room to operate.
(also VERY IMPORTANT. /boot needs to reside in the first 1024
clusters of your HD so that linux will run! You can then use LILO
or GRUB to manage which OS to boot from.)

See above for swap space.

/ (root) can then be set up to fill all remaining space on the
partition

I hope this is helpful, as I am a bit of a newbie and am still
learning the ropes myself.

You can find some much more insightful information at the official
redhat website
