I never reccomend Suse. It misguessed my P&P monitor and gave it a higher line frequency than it could take. The smoke signals out the back said 'I am broken". I sort of like mandrake because it does a lot for you and being a hard working IT man (and a touch on the lazy side) I like anything that makes life easier. But, if I had to be serious I would say the suse one seemed better setup when I ran its Server installation. It chopped out a lot more of the clutter that isn't needed in that setup. Ok, so this is possible with any of the distributions by manually selecting installed packages, but I'm a hard lazy IT man (and a touch on the working side). something like that.
