Hi paul

I just install linux and im not an expert but one thing. Windows will not
prevent you from using hard drive space for exemple u have a 17 gig
partition and a 3 gig partition.if you install windows on the 17gig for
exemple and u install linux on the 3 gig wich would be the space required
for a server and a lots of stuff but lets come back to your problem.

So if you whant windows tu use less disk space just creater for exemple 3
partition one of 2 or 3 gig for win and an other one for linux about the
same size. Now you have one partition of 12 gig wich you can leave in fat
so u can run win or linux and share the same drive for data storage.if
you need more help just let me know.
