Dear all,

Dont know if anyone can help me with the below problem, Im a complete Linux
newbie but would like to try and get this working as Mandrake 10.1 looks
great

I have a Belkin Wireless ADSL router connected upto a RTL8039 100mbps
network card. I installed linux without configuring the internet connection
and as expected i was on the desktop. I then proceeded into the control
panel to configure my ADSL connection so i could get on the internet. This
is all went fine and i was connected, I installed Kotepe so i could do some
online chatting and was using it for a few hours. However when i rebooted
the router was still showing as connected but if i during the boot process
you can go into Verbose mode and it displayed the message "Bringing up
interface ppp0" and stops there. it wont boot.

I noticed there is a Linux failsafe mode in the menu, If i select this
option it gets as far as a command line and i presume i should be typing
something in. The command is
Init

I have got a speedtouch modem i could test at some point but i really would
like to get this working as it looked brilliant. I look forward to hearing
from you.
