I am trying to setup a user profile under Red Hat version 7.0 and I'm not quite sure how to do it. I thought it would be as simple as loging in as root and adding a file named .profile under the user's home dirctory and it doesn't set work properly. Can anyone tell me if there are any Linux commands that will specifically setup a profile or any other method for that matter? Thanks in advance, J-
