I downloaded the three turorials: - application developers guide - system administrators guide - module writers guide In application developers guide I found an example, but when I compile the code the following error appears: /tmp/ccuFSiKK.o(.data+0x0): undefined reference to `misc_conv(int, pam_message const **, pam_response **, void *)' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status This is the command I gave: mba@sirius:~/PAM > cc check_user.cpp -lpam -lpam_misc Does anybody know how I can overcome this problem? greetings Mike Baron --------------=_4D48009F5AEC0842CC08 Content-Description: filename="text1.html" Content-Type: text/html Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV=3D"CONTENT-TYPE" CONTENT=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8= 859-1"> <TITLE>Problems with PAM example</TITLE> <META NAME=3D"GENERATOR" CONTENT=3D"StarOffice/5.2 (Linux)"> <META NAME=3D"CREATED" CONTENT=3D"20010208;10441600"> <META NAME=3D"CHANGEDBY" CONTENT=3D" "> <META NAME=3D"CHANGED" CONTENT=3D"20010208;10443500"> </HEAD> <BODY> <PRE>Hi I want to make an application that uses PAM.
