I am a newbie to RH Linux 7.0

I have successfully installed RHL7 (thank God) and have played around a
little.  Now this Linux box is on my local network, not on the itnernet.  I
want to be able to telnet into that box from my W2K machine as ROOT (please
dont tell me this is dumb and so on, i have already heard all that)

The thing is I WANT TO.

If you can help then please reply to postmaster@walia.com.

I have managed to FTP as root into the Linux box by editing the aliases file
and running 'newaliases' but the Telnet thing still does not work.

When replying, please remember you are helping out a newbie, so if you talk
too technical, you will go miles over my head.
