I just compiled a newer kernel and modules. I still have the older kernel and modules in their repective places. How does linux know which modules to use for each kernel? Can I configure it? The idea is that I want to make sure 2.2.17 modules are being used with 2.2.17 kernel, and 2.4.0-test11 modules are being used with 2.4.0-test11 kernel
