ok i loaded corel linux on my machine wiped all other os operating systems
but corel linux has come up with an error message saying

Fsck failed. please repair manually and reboot. please note that the root
file system is currently mounted read only.
to remount it read-write:
# mount -n -o remount,rw/

control-d will exit from this shell and reboot the system

give root password for maintenace
(or type control-d for normal start up):

i tried typing #mount -n -o remount,rw/
but get this message

EXT2-f2 warning: mounting unchecked fs, running e2fsck is recomended

have no idea where to go from here has any one got any ideas

many thanks in advance
