mount /dev/fd0 that is a zero not the letter o if this fails their is a problem with the disk, or drive. to access the files once mounted cd /mnt/floppy remember to 'umount /dev/fd0' unmount it or the os will not be happy with you. in GNOME i noticed the mounted will auto mount any partion style without complaint, i.e. dos/windoz machine disks will work just fine and unmounting the drive is simple, just click once on the drive icon that is mounted. to add a mount use the add applete option in the GNOME pop up menu, add two drives then you can right click on one and set its properties to the cdrom drive (/dev/cdrom) now you can access these right from the desk top or menu bar! Have fun Dennis Wan wrote: > How to access and browse Floppy Drive? > I am sorry for these easy questions! > Please help
