Is linux going to support the bigger HDs? I have a 27.3G HD and I am trying to install linux and NT but can not. I don't care about NT just Linux. I am above the 1024 sectors. Please help.

Well I had no troubles formating a 50 gig drive in linux or NT, all though be prepared to go get a snack while it formats, I told it to do a check also and it took a while. What scsi controller are you useeing, I formatted with both buslogic and adaptec, don't have a wide scsi future domain controller if the defunct company even has one. But linux has a 4 terabyte drive size limit unless it has been increased. On Wed, 17 May 2000 22:01:46 -0600, "Andrew" <sunblaze@customized.com> wrote: >Is linux going to support the bigger HDs?
