My Soundblaster SB 16 ASP (ISA Card) works well with Suse
Linux 6.2. But only with OSS the open sound system.
I had to install it, and then the card works.

Tell me what kernel you are useing and maybe I have the driver you need, or
just get Red Hat 6.2, it has a driver already and works great with the
Soundblaster live.
