I need to be able to share out a volume on a linux box to macintosh and pc (windows) users. Is this possible with Linux? If so, do I have to have it installed as a Linux Server, or will it work as a workstation? I am using redhat 6.2 on an intel pIII machine. Thanks in advance, Chris.

Either get nfs clients for other machines, or use samba and netatalk to share directories. The former is much faster but both work.
