hai, i have a sun workstation, and i wish to use my notebook which is
running in Redhat 6.1 to access the file in sun workstation using the direct
cable communication, just like the windows direct cable or lab link, but i
don't know it can be done or not? if possible, how can i make it.

i am very appreciate to whom given the answer

Start by editing your smb.conf file in RH 6.1
